A Pedras e Pêssegos abriu em 1998 e é uma loja especializada em mobiliário dinamarquês do final da década de 1940. Ocupa o espaço de uma antiga tipografia na Rua do Almada, num armazém com 1500 metros quadrados de área, onde se encontram as peças mais icónicas de designers como Hans Wegner, Børge Mogensen, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobson, Verner Panton ou Ole Wanscher. A Pedras e Pêssegos tem outro espaço na Praça Coronel Pacheco, 34, que funciona como montra e espaço multiusos.

Pedras & Pêssegos was the first of its kind to open in Portugal in 1998; established in a old typography building, it was reconverted into a permanent retail space to feature and sell a diverse collection of the quintessential mid-century modern design, art, antiques and miscellaneous.The shop is managed by Jaime Garcia whose talent developed these 1500 square meters “treasure chest” emphasizing the iconic pieces that inspired just about every modern designer and architect.Other than the warehouse there is the showroom settled down in a different location, that work as a window to exhibit furniture, contemporary jewelery, photography. Even if nothing strikes your taste at Pedras & Pêssegos, strolling around the space gives you the oportunity of showcasing your commanding knowledge of mid-century design. Pedras & Pêssegos specializes in Danish Furniture from the 40’s to 70’s era, it is primarily a vintage furniture sales company, but it also let furniture to advertising, cinema, theater and other projects. We mainly do wholesale so all prices are excl. VAT, packing and transport.
